River Ridge Farm is located in beautiful Hotchkiss, Colorado. We live right by the Rocky Mountains, so our donkeys are subjected to all kinds of weather! We get snow in the winter with the temperature dipping below zero occasionally, and our summers reach into the mid-nineties.
We believe in raising good, sound, quality donkeys. We are a small farm, so each donkey gets lots of attention every day! Our babies are imprinted upon birth and always very friendly!
Miniature donkeys are excellent for pets, to show, can be packed, and great "show & tell" animals. A donkey is a herd animal, so always needs to be with another donkey or equine animal. You should never keep them alone.
